The Light Within
With the I AM collection, this transformation is reflected in BISA, one of my favourite pieces. Like all ZVET creations, it carries a message that evokes growth, awakening, and creating inner strength through self-confidence.
Each collection is a continuation of the previous one.
NITA was about the journey towards self-discovery: a woman learning who she is, gradually revealing herself and accepting her truth.
I AM continues this story. Here, the woman has stepped out of her cocoon. She knows herself and now fully accepts this truth: "SHE IS."
"The Story Behind BISA"
BISA is inspired by self-confidence, one of the five pillars of Ubuntu. It is a celebration of women who have learned to trust their inner voice, who understand that their fulfillment is a journey shared with their community, and who radiate from within.
If you look closely at BISA, you’ll notice its different lengths and shapes, each line telling a story. They represent the uneven paths we walk, the moments of wisdom gained, the lessons learned, and the times of renewal. Together, they form a sun-like silhouette, which is a reminder that light doesn’t come from perfection, but from embracing every part of ourselves.
The design also nods to the previous pieces: the rhombus shapes of EFA return, symbolizing intuition and divine femininity, while echoes of ASA remind us of nature, balance, and groundedness.
"An Invitation to Reflect"
BISA means ‘to ask,’ and this pair invites introspection. It invites you to pause and reflect:
Who am I today?
What do I know about myself?
How can I bring my light to the world?
Thanks to BISA, the ZVET woman becomes radiant, confident, determined, and aware that every action has its impact. She has learned that life does not just happen to her, but passes through her.
