A Symbol of Growth, Connection, and Confidence
Some mornings don’t go as planned. I set out for a morning walk, but the rain had other ideas. So I made myself a warm cup of cocoa instead and sat with my thoughts. Thoughts about seeds. About growth. About connections.
Lately, I have been reflecting on the act of sowing seeds, the very inspiration behind our JUZI earrings in the NITA collection.
"Growth Starts Within, but It’s Never Just About You"
In my last blog, I shared about the Ubuntu philosophy, “I am because you are.” This philosophy naturally led me to think about seasons. There are seasons when we connect and nurture relationships, and others when we hibernate, tending to our inner world.
During my shedding season, when life felt paused and still, I started to grasp this. Nothing seemed to move. My plans, projects, and dreams all felt stuck. But looking back, I see that these were my seed-sowing moments. Quiet, hidden, but vital.
I had to learn to trust the process, to believe that every effort, every seed planted, would eventually bloom, even if I couldn’t see it yet. This belief first required a shift in perception because Perception + Action = Seeds of Transformation.
"Designing JUZI: A Family Collaboration"
Interestingly, the JUZI earrings were designed by my sister. I shared with her what I was going through, the themes of sowing seeds and personal growth, and gave her the creative freedom to interpret that however she felt.
She captured it beautifully. Through her lens, it became a story of interactions, friendships, and the people who water us with their presence.
For me, the seeds were sown by my inner circle. Their encouragement and presence reminded me that I wasn’t alone, that I wasn’t crazy for dreaming. “Every connection, every word of encouragement, was a seed helping me bloom again.”
Isn’t it beautiful how everything aligns? As I committed to sowing the seeds of rebranding and relaunching ZVET, I began to meet the right people.
It’s a divine choreography: you move, and the world moves with you.
The JUZI earrings embody this story. They are a reminder that everything you nurture in yourself, in others, has the potential to grow, even if you can’t see it yet.
With every step I take, every video I record, every story I share, I feel that confidence growing, and I remind myself, like planting seeds, the magic is not instant, but it is inevitable.
